The eSoil LEIS application works in combination with the eSoil device developed by the Laboratory for Electronic and Information Systems. The eSoil is embedded in the soil in which the plant grows. The device then sends a data about the relative humidity and ambient temperature to the mobile application eSoil LEIS on your smart device via a wireless connection. The eSoil LEIS application then evaluates the status of the plant on the basis of the received data and displays it both numerically and graphically.
