In recent years, the continuous progress in knowledge relating to the vestibular system in terms of both clinical-instrumental diagnostics and medical-rehabilitation treatment methods has undoubtedly opened new scenarios in the approach to pathologies that more generally involve the complex system of balance, allowing to make the study of the vertiginous patient extremely rewarding, too often reduced to a mere empirical evaluation not rationally supported by valid therapeutic schemes. Starting from these assumptions, we considered it appropriate to collect in this digital work all the recent acquisitions involving the vestibular system in order to be able to provide anyone who wants to deal with this matter in various capacities, a practical tool, oriented in a clinical sense, which can be of real help in directing the doctor towards the most correct diagnostic and therapeutic choices.
