The calculator is designed to calculate the fertility index for genital endometriosis (Endometriosis fertility index - EFI), proposed by G.D. Adamson and Pasta D.J. in 2010 [1]. The calculation of this index is made taking into account the woman's age, the duration of the period of infertility, anamnestic data on previous pregnancies and data obtained during laparoscopic examination (the condition of the fallopian tubes, ovary, the prevalence of endometriosis according to the r-AFS classification). Based on the EFI index, the calculator calculates the probability of pregnancy within 6 and 12 months after surgery.
This index is proposed to use clinical guidelines for endometriosis [2]. According to clinical guidelines, the EFI value should be interpreted taking into account the results of an assessment of the ovarian reserve performed before planning surgical treatment, especially in patients with ovarian endometriomas (AMH monitoring and counting the number of antral follicles).
