About cuidaTEA

The GTS group of the Carlos III University of Madrid, in collaboration with Evidence-Based Beahavior (eB2), has developed the careTEA App within the PETRA Project of the Carlos III University of Madrid, a project selected by Indra and the Fundación Universia del Banco Santander in the "III Call for Grants for Research Projects applied to the development of accessible technologies".

The CuidaTEA application has been developed to characterize the behavior of a patient with ASD and find characteristic and personalized patterns that make it possible to predict crisis episodes in advance, automatically generating a direct alert to caregivers on their mobile devices in real time.

CuidaTEA uses the information available on your device to measure your behavior. Specifically, it uses the inertial sensors and the pedometer. In addition, it connects to the Health App (HealthKit) to extract information related to physical activity and sleep
