AgroCalculadora is an application sponsored by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) focused on coffee, chocolate, vegetable/vegetable and dairy producers from 12 municipalities in 5 departments of the Republic of Guatemala, within the framework of the project "Generating economic opportunities for young Mayans in western Guatemala, through value chains, the use of permaculture techniques and ancestral wisdom in coffee, cocoa and sustainable livestock with a territorial approach", which It is executed by the Association for Research, Development and Integral Education (IDEI).
The application allows farmers to project income based on the estimated sales volume of each of the existing products in the application's catalogue, and at the same time suggests optimal prices for retail and wholesale sales, based on the costs previously estimates, and on these values a return on sale is estimated.
The application currently has a catalog of 17 products distributed in 4 main categories: Coffee, chocolate, orchards, and dairy products.
