The TIM Conscious Keyboard is a mobile keyboard created with the objective of identifying words and expressions that may have prejudiced connotations when used in everyday messages. Developed by TIM Brasil in partnership with Virgula Consultoria, the application provides explanatory content on the reasons why the language is classified as prejudiced, suggesting non-pejorative alternatives.
To install the keyboard, it's easy:
In general settings, look for "Keyboard".
Then "Add New Keyboard".
Select "TIM Conscious Keyboard" and allow full access.
Once that's done, the keyboard will already be enabled and just use it normally on your smartphone.
The keyboard identifies derogatory words and expressions as they are typed and notifies the person of the occurrence. By clicking on expand, the person can read the full explanation of the term used and have the option of replacing it with another word suggested by the keyboard.
There are also words and expressions that should not be used under any circumstances. In this case, the keyboard notifies the inappropriate use of the word, presents the reasons that make the word and/or expression inappropriate and suggests its non-use.
At the end of the correction, on the share button, you can share the app on social networks.
