This application allows for the recording of sound in an uncompressed .wav file format, which can be played, renamed and deleted.
The application is intended to be used in an academic environment for easily recording and labeling different types of sound classes, i.e. speech, music, noise. Currently there are two predefined recording lengths of 16 sec and 32 sec, and a recording frequency of 16 kHz is used.
The labels are predefined and help streamline the process of recording samples for audio databases.
