In most fast food restaurants, serving procedure is that waiting staff serve meals to customers’ seats. However, this way may not be efficient all the time since servers spend much time walking around in the whole area to look for corresponding number standing signs or order sheets. To solve this problem, ARCT provides a new solution “Table Locator System” for this type of restaurants. Use of this system is similar to common number standing signs. As customers finish their orders at counters, servers give them “Table Locator.” Then they go find seats and put locators at location area on tables. Servers can see the seat number and location of the customers through screens and serve meals to them directly in efficiency. This system can help improve customer experience. They can change their seats with locators on their own and don’t have to worry that servers take wrong meals to them. On the other hand, waiting staff don’t need to waste time checking number standing signs, so it can truly help increase efficiency.
