Sonali Tandoori was established in March 1992 in Grove Park, SE12 London, and has become a household name within Grove Park and the surrounding areas. As well the many awards it has won over the years since opening, it has also been a permanent fixture in the Top 100 Best Indian Takeaways in the UK for the past 5 years. Sonali Tandoori has achieved the Food Standards Agency’s 5 Star Rating for 3 years in a row and has been a finalist at the Bangladesh Caterers Association Awards for the past 4 years. Its biggest accolade came to date in November 2014 when the head chef was awarded Best Chef of the Year in South East London; an award received from MasterChef’s Greg Wallace and Labour Party Leader, Honorable Ed Milliband MP.
