Our daughter Elena since she was even under a year old she used to want to sit on the work table watching me cooking and opening all the herbs and spices, smelling them and choosing her favourites. She still does the same over a year later. We always cook healthy and homey food. One of her first words was yiamiam which means yummy food in Greek baby language.
