Sicurapp is the new free work tool available to workers, workers and construction companies, to help them manage risks and improve safety in the construction sector.
Why do masons and construction workers have to download and use Sicurapp?
Because the application contains clear information, images and practical procedures in five languages (Italian to date and soon in English, Romanian, Albanian and Arabic) that guide the worker and help him correctly manage the main risks in his work.
Sicurapp consists of three parts:
1- an overview of the professional figures involved in occupational safety, specifying the role and responsibilities of each one, helping the worker to choose the right person to turn to for his needs concerning safety
2- "containers" dedicated to each risk area among those typical of construction sites and which statistically cause the greatest number of serious accidents. The first container is dedicated to the "risk of falling from above" and collects the typical site situations in which this risk is present, providing information, procedures and checklists to be used before executing the work, to avoid falls from high and protect properly. Soon, additional containers will be added for each specific risk area.
3- a "toolbox" with tools useful for daily work such as laser level, the scalimeter and the automatic calculator of volumes and weights of building materials.
** NOTE: A smartphone of the latest generation is required for the laser level to work. The instrument may not be compatible with non-recent smartphones.
