The Polish Feature Film Festival is one of the oldest film events in Europe, promoting native cinema on such a large scale. It has existed since 1974, until 1986 the Polish Film Festival was organized in Gdańsk, then Gdynia became its seat, and the festival center - the Musical Theater named after Danuta Baduszkowa.
