With our educational app "Walderlebnispfad-Gera" students experience the forest in a new way.
At the start of the forest, you will be greeted by an entry board where all the information is presented. Then the students download the app and discover the forest in Gera through a digital scavenger hunt.
When the students walk past important stations in the forest, a digital station opens in the app and the students learn something about the animals of the forest, such as the woodpecker, the salamander, and here they also hear the animal sounds. You will also learn something about the vegetation.
After receiving the information, students answer related questions and play a trivia quiz. When a station is successfully completed, virtual animals are unlocked. The students can also collect points at each station and thus compare themselves with their classmates.
This gives the students a playful approach to nature.
