Dipfit™ App allows practitioners to run a range of compatible point-of-care diagnostic assays, with accurate, robust and reproducible quantitative results; thus, it represents a significant breakthrough in veterinary diagnostic technologies.
Dipfit™ App is an innovative concept that makes the accuracy of laboratory immuno-enzymatic assays (ELISA) available for veterinary practitioners for use in the office or on the farm.
Dipfit™ App, developed for Bio-X Diagnostics, kicks off a new generation of robust, accurate quick tests (quantitative results possible) that include a data transmission module connected to your computer network or LIMS.
Dipfit™ App requires no special equipment (a simple smartphone suffices), fastidious handling, or laboratory expertise. It is proposed as a means for reading the results of our Dipfit™ App quick diagnostic tests:
• as an alternative to reading the “positive/negative” response tests with the naked eye;
• as a system for reading/interpreting all tests that require semi-quantitative or quantitative calibrated responses.
Dipfit™ App works like a sequential toolbox with:
• a tool to recognise the test parameter via the QR code printed on the device;
• a tool for reading the test (automatic visual capture);
• a tool for interpreting the readings, which may be of various types (positive/negative, positive/dubious/negative, semi-quantitative (value intervals), or quantitative, depending on the parameter);
• a tool for creating files (per animal, batch of animals, farm, etc.); and
• a tool for exporting data (test results, date, geographical coordinates, comments, and attachments) to a remote computer or server.
