Would I recommend this game? For the most part, yes. It’s fun, and I like collecting “monsters” and the necessary gold, gems, and materials to either evolve or gain better stats for each monster. I have been playing this game since the first year it came out, so I have seen how much this game has grown into where it is now. They have certainly gone into the right direction with giving F2P players opportunities to obtain 5 star monsters. Every week there is an event going on which is nice. I don’t mind how the ads are placed in this game to gain different rewards. Two of the best features they’ve added are sweep and a higher auto battle to 50. However, I think the worst part of this game is PVP. I disagree with some people that this is not P2W. There are many players that DO spend a lot of money in this game to get ahead, specifically for PVP. The higher you rank, you will see the P2W players. My biggest gripe is that they need to nerf Dark Persephone. She is too OP and makes this mode very unbalanced, especially when you have certain players ($$$) that have 3-4 of them in their lineup. PVP needs to be reworked in a way that is more balanced and less repetitive in the sense of the teams you’re fighting. There’s hardly any variation. I feel like they should add certain rules or special event PVP modes, such as having one day where it’s water vs. water monsters. Like the dimensional defense where a different day is a different element. Overall, it’s a GOOD game. It’s fun for casual play. It’s grindy, but in a good way. What they do best is that they give a lot of rewards and events that keep you engaged, so you always feel like you’re progressing even if you’re not spending money.

Exciting and F2P Friendly

I want to say the combat system(s) are the most fun and balanced in any online/gacha game I’ve played. Characters I’ve had since I was a child are still valid today, and new upgrade systems provide a way to make any of your favorite viable. There is always something that you can do, so I don’t get bored even after clearing the story content. The clan system rewards frequent playing and diversified teams— PVP is great for focusing on a select few characters. If you have a specific pull in mind, it is definitely possible to guarantee a summon from free currency alone. I love that power creep isn’t really an issue, so I don’t feel penalized when life gets a little too busy to game. I came back after 2 years, and despite new content, my old team still held up and could be further upgraded. Worth a try for both casuals or sweatier players.
