The Rehberger-Weg with its 24 brightly coloured way markers designed by the artist Tobias Rehberger links two countries, two municipalities, two cultural institutions – and countless stories. The «24 Stops» app permits a multimedial experience of the Rehberger-Weg. An audio-guide, short videos, humorous assignments and complementary texts assure a varied an entertaining walk along the path between Weil am Rhein and Riehen, between the Vitra Campus and the Fondation Beyeler.
Anyone who walks along the Rehberger-Weg needs to take their time. The picturesque landscape and the people who live close to the path make up a fascinating and diverse mosaic, extending beyond national borders, that offers a great deal to discover –slow-down elements in the app enhance users’ awareness of their surroundings.
The path takes between one and two hours on foot and about 30 minutes on a bicycle.
