About Party Squasher
Party Squasher, the first occupancy people-counter for homes, is a simple solution designed for smart rental owners who care about their properties and want to be alerted to unexpected party disasters.
Party Squasher counts the number of people at your house by counting the mobile phones in/around a house. Ideal for detached homes, where our calibration (small, medium or large homes) lets you distinguish between mobile phones on your property and those nearby. Finally, no more guesswork if there’s a WILD party at your vacation rental!
The sensor (purchased separately) is compact and discreet. It simply hooks up to your router and counts mobile devices, even if they aren’t connected to your Wi-Fi network. Our solution is PRIVACY-FRIENDLY with no intrusive microphones or cameras. Party Squasher doesn’t collect or store personal data or track phone numbers, it’s GDPR-compliant. In case of a party, our sensor will detect a spike in the number of nearby mobile phones. Then, our cloud service will immediately send you a text message or email, so you can decide what to do next. Yes, it is that simple.
Party Squasher is easy to use:
- Download the mobile app
- Scan the QR code on the device to link it to your phone
- Choose small, medium, or large house
- Set the alert threshold (# of mobile devices detected)
- Choose to receive either SMS or email alerts.

Easy Set Up
Setting up the Party Squasher app with my phone was very easy and greatly helped me manage my property and the number of people on it at any given time!
Monoseanism
Bait and switch
I’ve had this device for about a year and just today I get a notification that my subscription is expiring and I need to renew. No big deal, loads of devices like this try to make money by charging a yearly fee. So I go into my account and I find for one year it cost twice as much as what I paid for the device to begin with. This is a total scam.
