RefCom4All is the speech communication tool for hockey umpires. It replaces the cumbersome Push to Talk Walkie Talkies with a simple to use App. This means that the two umpires on the pitch can make or advise each other due to faster consultation. So matches are raised to a higher level.
RefCom4All is available for every (Dutch) hockey club that subscribes to the RefCom4All platform.
A speech app, how does that work? RefCom4All uses efficient VoIP technology so send your voice through your data connection towards a speech group, think of it as a sort conference call. The advantage? You do not use any voice minutes! With a wireless data connection such as Wi-Fi, 3G or 4G you have the app running in no time.
Also nice: new umpires can now realtime be supervised by experienced umpire coaches or assessors, they can easily join the same speechgroup.
