Awards & Reviews:
Based on the award-winning phonics reading curriculum from Veritas Press, the most awarded Classical Education curriculum provider over the last 20 years.

"Guess who just read her first book on your app?!!! Our four-year-old (not even four and a half yet) is reading! Thanks for making such an awesome app!!!"

"My four-year-old loves playing on the app and will beg me each day to let her do lessons on it. Through the fun and engaging atmosphere of the app, she quickly learned the letter sounds and started putting them together to form words. And we only used the app for a month before she read her first book on it! The app has made learning to read fun and enjoyable. We have loved it!"

Wordblunder

Clunky

I have used this app on and off for years. The app is so incredibly clunky and difficult to use. Even just at the beginning when I can't even rotate my phone to enter the login and password. Or that I can't paste my login and have to keep reentering it if I get the password wrong or need to have a password reset done. I did the password reset twice and only got one email. Then, the updating of the profile takes a very long time. Then the app itself is very difficult to navigate. The song is of utmost importance yet extremely difficult to find. This is supposed to supplement the curriculum that we use at home. Quickly and readily available. But it's not. It is easier and less complicated to use Phonograms as a free app then pay $10 a month for an app that is so antiquated it's incredibly difficult to use. I would love it if this app was updated to be more updated (not the characters but the app itself, and was more user friendly. It has always been the way it is now so I don't know that it will change but even over the last several years nothing has changed and the reviews are pretty accurate.

ThoughtfulConversation

Tried it for ten minutes

We tried this for about ten minutes. The explanations and gimmicks are overdone, and the kid in the museum starts out saying how dumb art is and keeps it up from there. The whole tone is “we’re trying really hard to make boring learning fun” - a good app would show kids how fun real learning is just by helping them do it!
