Since 1949, SSCU has been serving the financial needs of our members. What was once started by seven employees at a small milk plant; has grown into a premier financial institution serving over 8,200 members. Our availability of products and services match institutions triple our size. We are proud to be a “not-for-profit” financial cooperative, where our members are not customers, but they are member owners. Member owners are people who have come together for the mutual benefit of pooling their savings and lending their money to those in need of a loan.
