About Knitting Calculator
Tip # 1:
Use the app to figure out where to make buttonholes by entering the number of stitches and the number of buttonholes to the decrease module of the calculator. Create the buttonhole when asked to "k2tog".
Tip # 2:
Use the app to figure out how to pick up stitches to make the placket even by counting the number of stitches per inch, subtract the number of stitches the pattern says it should be every inch, using the decrease module of the calculator to find where to skip a stitch when stitches are picked up "k2tog".

Worst app
This is the worst app. If I could get a refund, that would be great. I had to decrease 25 stitches over 259 stitches. Did all the instructions and ended up with 240 stitches. I took them all out and did it again. Still wrong! Don’t waste your money!!!!

Easy way to evenly increase or decrease
This app is simple and intuitive to use. I wanted an app to calculate how to do the required number of increases or decreases evenly across the row and this does exactly that. I chose it to replace the app ‘Knit Evenly’ which was no longer offered on the App Store. This has the advantage of a built in counter that you can use to track the number of increases or decreases you have done. The only thing that would make it better is if it had one feature that Knit Evenly had - it offered two options. One was perfectly evenly spaced (as done in this app) and the other was not perfectly spaced but an easier sequence to remember and pretty close to evenly spaced.
