BEWARE: Broad consent to collect personal/biometric data

Broad Consent for Data Collection and Sharing • Issue: By using the system, the user automatically consents to the collection of a wide array of personal data, including biometric data (face), audio/video, ID numbers, and potentially sensitive data (religion, health). • Concern: Consent is blanket-style, not granular. Once given, data can be stored, transferred, and shared with third parties or government agencies. 2. Storage of Biometric and Sensitive Personal Data • Issue: Biometric data and ID documentation (e.g., ID card scans) are stored and used for authentication. • Concern: Biometric data, unlike a password, cannot be changed if compromised. Once your face data is collected, it’s in someone else’s system. 3. Third Party and International Data Transfer • Issue: Data may be shared with unspecified domestic and international partners, including IT service providers and cloud services. • Concern: There’s no list of third parties or geographic limits, opening the door to potential surveillance-state or data-broker pipelines. 4. Vague Data Retention and Deletion Protocols • Issue: They claim to delete personal data after 1 year, unless the meeting organizer asks them to keep it. • Concern: This is a loophole. Data could be retained indefinitely under a vague “organizer’s discretion” clause. 5. No Real Recourse for System Downtime or Data Breaches • Issue: If their system fails, you lose access, or data is leaked—they’re not liable for damages beyond what they charged the meeting organizer (not the end-user). • Concern: No remedy for users whose privacy is violated, or who lose access to important meetings or votes. 6. They Can Change Terms Anytime • Issue: They reserve the right to alter terms unilaterally without requiring your acknowledgment or agreement. • Concern: This makes it a living contract — you’re bound by whatever they decide in the future. 7.
