Not A Fan, like at all
Awful update
This latest update is CLUTTERED and LACKS INTUITIVENESS. The UI is frustrating to navigate trying to find and pay a bill- having 4 options above the bill pay option, no more banner reminding you of available bills, compressed list of payees crammed into the screen & reduced font for payee list. Less user friendly and clean than the app has been for years prior to this update. It’s brilliance and ease of use was in how simply organized and clean the app appearance was while highlighting common actions and having a larger secondary “more” menu for typically less used/less needed actions like Zelle and outside accounts. Poorly designed and redundant actions now, like a transfer option on both “my accounts” list & in “pay and transfer” tab. The Pay option not being the first option of the Pay menu anymore says it all about how poorly executed and lacking common sense the changes are. Stuck using this garbage bc the customer experience of going into a branch is equally disappointing to have a slowed down transaction process with remote tellers in echoing lobbies that share my business with anyone with ears. Or the awkwardness of standing in a large, barely decorated space listening to other customers transactions while you have to wait for someone to walk away to the back of the building to get you a roll of coins. The staff are nice enough, but the disconnect between them and actual customer service or providing a comfortable and at least semi-private customer experience anymore is getting worse.

I hate this app so much I’m closing all my accounts and reporting to BBB
I don’t know what idiot you have working on this app but he needs to go. Stop moving stuff around. It’s impossible to even make auto loan payments. I’ve been trying to make a payment all weekend. I’m calling Monday to transfer all my money. Don’t bother. I’m so very frustrated. Don’t bother calling either. These cheap losers at GECU won’t even hire real people to help you. Nothing but bots. I’m so angry. I’m writing to the BBB as we speak. Fed up.
