Decibel Meter app uses the built-in microphone to determine the level of sound it detects and displays it in decibels (dB). Microphone audio data is used to calculate dB (Decibels) / AF (Audio Frequency) reading to the user. This app support polling functionality using web hooks to monitor the dB and frequency values for realtime data analysis. This app is also support share readings with Messages, Email, WhatsApp, Notes and more, if the user prefer to use dB / AF values for further analysis. Apart from that the audio or any other information is not collected, used, stored, transmitted or circulated in any way. The decibel reading obtained from this application is limited to the device microphone capabilities. It is not, therefore, recommended to use this app as a high quality professional grade meter. Audible frequencies is limited to the range of 20 to 16,000 Hz.
