MyPatientPal is like having a health coach in your pocket. You can keep track of your cancer symptoms, manage your medications, develop handy charts to share with your doctor, and even receive alerts about when to call your doctor’s office.

DAILY SYMPTOM LOG
Keep track of symptoms related to your cancer treatment. You can choose the symptoms you want to track and how severe it is every day. Track nausea, fatigue, diarrhea, pain, and more.

DAILY MEDICATION LOG
Keep track of your medications all in one place. You can enter the dosage and frequency of each medication as it was prescribed and record how often you are taking them. You can also modify or discontinue medications and add new ones to track as your medications change during treatment. Now with the ability to query HealthKit for Systolic/Diastolic Blood Pressure, Perfusion Index, Heart Rate, and Blood Glucose.

CHARTS
Handy charts provide easy-to-read displays that help you monitor your symptoms and medications over time. You can see how often and how severe each symptom has been over the past week or month. You can also track your medications to see how often you have used each one and how many doses you have been taking. Show these charts to your doctors to help them understand how you are doing every day and how well your medications are working. You can also show them to your caregivers so they can help you take care of yourself.

ALERTS
The app features that can let you know when to discuss symptoms with your doctor, when to call your doctor’s office, and even when to seek immediate medical attention. The alerts were developed by the doctors treating you for your cancer at Karmanos Cancer Institute.
