WSSC FHP

- The Fire Hydrant Painting (FHP) project will enhance the Information Technology (IT) Team’s and the Utility Services Department (USD) business processes and technologies. WSSC recommends that fire hydrants be painted every nine to ten years. As such, FHP schedules are created yearly and provided to external contractors. The Commission utilizes external contractors who will provide FHP services for the Commission’s nearly 44,000 FH assets in Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties.
