Works for PTSD Nightmares
A little background, at one point I was on 16mg prazosin for PTSD related nightmares. Currently down to 2mg for a partial treatment response… First night of use, i had two interventions. First arousal, It woke me as I was acting out some sleep behaviors I didn’t know that I did (eyes open, legs moving as if I was running in my sleep lol). After the intervention occurred I only remember a brief portion of a nightmare and the behaviors described. The second intervention occurred with sleep paralysis. I remember being in my bed unable to move, trying to flail and yell to wake up to no avail. Then the beeping from the app and it was all over. It’s not perfect, but I don’t recall it messing with my sleep unless I needed it to. Also, I don’t recall any nightmares that weren’t abruptly interrupted by the apps beeping. 10/10 recommend if you have severe sleep disturbances and can’t afford nightware. Just try it, it won’t hurt to try.

Could this be it?
Been searching for an app to help with sleep paralysis. Going to test this app out. Would be great to see it for apple watch to check heart rate or breathing since its hard to move while being in sleep paralysis. Maybe the watch app could pulse vibrate to help “wake up” the victim. Excited to see if this app works though! Giving 5 stars for the idea and concept , can’t rate on how it works yet!
