Fossil Finder helps you visiting locations of fossil findings. It extracts data from the Paleobiology Database (paleobiodb.org), which are already publicly available. These in turn are compiled from published and accessible literature. The data are then combined with images from Integrated Digitized Biocollections (iDigBio). The application is the best way for paleontologists and hobby fossils collectors to find fossils in their vicinity. Images in the logo are provided by Rodolfo Nogueira.
