Bugridden signup process
I signed up without a Spanish ID and it kept sending me in a loop. I then used my NIE to sign up but when asked to confirm my email it kept responding invalid NIE or email even though it’s the same I used for the signup. So I’m still unable to charge my car on these chargers as it seems to be impossible to sign up. UPDATE: it appears the OTHER field for non-Spanish users really means «mobile number». So putting that in there enabled me to finish the signup process and use it for charging. Much can be said about the UI and usability for that part, but first and foremost whoever is the product owner for this app needs to fix the field descriptions so that users know what to put in where, with specific focus for the non-native users. And just as important, make the various error messages specific and correct to the various failure modes. The ones I got while signing up made no sense compared to where I was in the process, and specifically the endless loop one ends up in if selecting no registration needs to be fixed. Either make the no registration work, or remove the option if it’s not supposed to be there ;) Finally, the suggestion to call or email doesn’t work. I was on the call for 15 minutes getting passed between three different agents before one just hung up on me mid-sentence. Fix the signup process.
