Best in class citation manager
This is simply the best citation manager out there, and the most appropriate tool for most academic and student writing, especially in the humanities. I’ve been using the web and Mac-based versions for years now and was pleasantly surprised to discover it has an iPhone app and that it’s so well and elegantly designed. This is the tool that gets the various referencing formats, but also allows for the art of referencing. The main reason I only have it at four stars for the iOS app is that it appears the export functions could be more communicative— it not always clear where the expected data will end up. (Clipboard, Word app, etc. ). Also, it seems that the copy function does not preserve formatting, namely italics / underlining, which actually would be a pretty substantial time-saver if it did.
