Not curated hunts. Just walks.
We’ve purchased scavenger hunts from other companies and found them fun, so assumed we’d like these. After 1 experience, we regretted buying annual membership. Tried to request refund, but denied. It’s built for preschoolers, not curated “hunts”. When it says ages 4+, they mean only age 4. You don’t hunt anything! It will suggest sites to walk to, but no challenges or something to look for. The 1-2 questions per site are so dumb. The answers are literally in the descriptions. We skipped the photo challenges because they were uninteresting: “pretend to fly…act like you are arriving in 1940…pose like you lived here in 1850”…. Just do a google search and create your own map. That’s all they’ve done. Choose other apps that actually require searching for something or answering questions that require a challenge or search. We tried this his app couple more times, and they just got worse. Sometimes the building no longer exists or the directions are worthless. And when it says 1.7 miles, they don’t even take you in a loop! You’ll have 1.7 miles back!!

App problems -NO support
I was gifted the annual unlimited membership and was excited about the idea of exploring while on our many travel adventures. My son was as excited giving it to us for our travel adventures. We used it once and enjoyed the challenges and missions but nothing was recorded after we completed it. The app was not tracking completed missions in the profile stats. About three weeks later we again pulled up the app to complete more missions on another trip, but the app kept crashing and we were unable to get to any of the hunts or missions or to get past the intro page. Reaching out to support multiple times they were always offering to escalate the problem to IT and said wait for an email with resolutions. We were in the trip and it wasn’t helpful as we couldn’t utilize the gift at all because we couldn’t access the challenges or hunts through the app where our code had been entered and it continued crashing. We were given another code but the result was the same - crashing despite doing all trouble shooting they recommended… turn off and restart phone, delete and reinstall app, force close… nothing works. Now 7 weeks after first support request not a single response and nothing helpful each time I reach out unable to use the expensive annual unlimited membership which was a gift.
