Updated App is Horrendous
Why on earth they decided to re-develop this app is beyond me. It was perfectly functional, borderline sleek. This version is worse in literally single measurable category. It’s essentially just a shell for the mobile Safari website, and the only function the app serves is to make the Safari version slower and clunkier. There is literally not a single area in which this current app is better than the previous version. It’s borderline unusable. Just use the mobile browser. The only explanation I can come up with as to why this app exists is that some C-suite person’s nephew desperately wanted to develop a new version of the app, the guy has zero education in app design, and like violently rejects criticism.
