SmartPass is the ultimate "solution" to a problem that never existed, replacing common sense with a glitchy digital leash. Why It’s a Disaster: • The "Wait-In-Line" Simulator: I’m standing in a hallway, staring at a door, waiting for a digital green light like I’m at a high-stakes drag race. Except the prize isn't a trophy—it's just a sink and some paper towels. • Battery Vampire: Nothing says "convenience" like your phone dying in third period because a hall pass app decided to eat 40% of your battery while running in the background. • The Infinite Loading Screen: There is a special kind of panic that sets in when you really have to go, but the app is stuck on a spinning wheel. I shouldn't need a 5G connection to justify my biological needs to a cloud server. • Privacy? Never Heard of Her: It feels less like a school tool and more like an ankle monitor. I half expect a drone to follow me if I take a wrong turn toward the water fountain.
