About GFR EasyCalc

Certainly not the only, probably not the fanciest, but perhaps the fastest and easiest way to calculate kidney function (glomerular filtration rate: GFR). Creatinine concentration can be expressed in conventional (mg/dl) or SI (µmol/l) units. For weight and height metric (kg, m) as well as imperial (pound, inch) units are accepted.
Uses CKD-EPI equation, MDRD equation, Schwartz equation for estimated GFR (eGFR) calculation, and Cockcroft and Gault equation for creatinine clearance calculation.
Calculates body surface area (BSA) and converts BSA-adjusted output of eGFR equations to "real" GFR expressed as ml/min/actual BSA.
Makes a rough prediction ("ceteris paribus") of the plasma creatinine concentration in (pre) end-stage renal disease (GFR 15 ml/min/1.73 m² and 10 ml/min/1.73 m²)
Detailed usage instructions available via Info button.
