Troll i ord is a tool for language stimulation developed for children in kindergarten. The app is particularly suitable for groups of children where different languages are represented. The children can listen to fairy tales, flip from page to page and gain aesthetic and linguistic experiences through the fairy tales that are conveyed. When the children can understand and experience fairytales in Norwegian and other mother tongues, a common frame of reference can be created for further play and purposeful work. In this way, the children's language skills are strengthened, while the fiction of the fairy tales promotes imagination and creativity.
Through the fairy tale universe in Troll i ord, children encounter both well-known Norwegian folk tales and fairy tales originating from other parts of the world.
