Newest firmware is great!

I have had the Pro-Ject Stream Box S2 for multiple years. At first software was unstable and very difficult to work with (A frustrating experience for sure). I give it up to Pro-Ject for their continued improvement and not leaving purchasers in the cold. This product’s control app is a variation of the Volumio App. So it is easy to use. Also you don’t need a linear power supply because it was designed by John Westlake with that taken care of with internal capacitors. There are not many Digital Bridge products for streaming. This is a very good value as the price is inexpensive for its build quality! I have a very nice DAC and don’t want to waste my money on an all in one streamer with a sub par internal DAC. I feel that is the whole point of audiophiles, that have separates in their system. Give me the best of a specialized piece of gear. I don’t want to pay for any fat on my filet mignon when paying for it by the pound. With this Digital Bridge for streaming and your DAC. It doesn’t really get better than this until you start paying Naim ND 5 XS2 money!

Works well after setup

You do have to get your Pro-ject streaming device set up correctly on the same WiFi network as your phone for this app to work. Once that was done, this app works well. I've found that any issues are due to my WiFi network not responding or the streamer not connecting. This isn't a particularly fancy looking app but I've found that it does everything I need for listening to local files or streamed music via Qobuz.
