The Fleetistics field service app has launched with time and attendance, way point check-ins and an SOS button.
Easily clock in and out of your shift, on and off break and in and out of personal time. Time and mileage is tracked in each status for your personal records with an option to email a copy to your employer.
When when working your route displays on the map showing status changes, path traveled and way-points. When on personal time, your route is not recorded on the map but mileage and time is available for mileage reimbursement. The check-in feature is great for foot patrols or to verify activity at unique locations. The SOS button can alert your company or anyone via email a situation has developed. Although not meant to be a lifesaving tool, it offers a way to alert others of an issue. With the optional API service, if SOS is triggered an online map can display your location so support or emergency services can be dispatched to you by your company. (911 does not monitor the SOS function and this is not intended to be a life saving function). At the end of your shift an email is sent to you for your records and another email can be designated to turn in your hours and miles.
