Scrap Paper is a simple notes app with only one note.
Scrap Paper is also available for macOS and features cross-device iCloud sync.
P.S.: Scrap Paper can solve simple math problems. How it works: Type in a problem (e.g. "2+3*4"), highlight it, and click on the "Solve Math Problem" button in the context menu. Scrap Paper will append an equal symbol and the result (e.g. "=14"). Computation happens locally on your device.

Problems on Mac with latest update. It doesn’t stay in the menu bar.I’ve tried deleting it and reinstalling. Goes away after reboot most of the time

Scrap Paper Works Great
This is the app that I did not know I needed. I found this app by accident and I'm glad I did. This app launches quickly and gives me a place to jot down some quick information for future reference. I am having a few issues with older iPads running iPadOS 16.7.11 and I have informed the developer. All of my newer iOS devices running iOS 18.6 work without error. My thanks to the developer for an excellent app that is simple and useful.
