Say NO to spyware.
Requires suspiciously broad permissions, including precise location access “to get the current wifi” they claim. Say NO to spyware and return the smart device you purchased back to the retailer you got it from. We as a society should not tolerate this behavior. Update: In response to developer’s response: It doesn’t sound like privacy is a top priority. I do not care that “it’s just how the app detects your local WiFi to finish the network setup.” Nothing about allowing location access to connect to WiFi is standard. If you “don’t collect or save my location data,” then don’t request it. Zero star app and zero star response from the developer. Garbage.
