The Pronto Xi Proof of Delivery (POD) app helps customers manage the critical final stage of the supply chain, a stage where inefficiencies can eat into profit margins and cause irreparable damage to customer service. The POD app extends the operational reach of Pronto Xi’s Supply Chain solution as it provides clarity of each order delivery stage from truck load through to final delivery where the sign on glass feature captures the customer signature at point of delivery, photographs, date/time, geolocation or other notational detail required to substantiate proof of receipt and exact location of delivery.
Our new mobile app and delivery solution is designed for customers who manage their own delivery fleet, and is aimed at helping manage their daily deliveries of customer sales orders or inter warehouse transfers from initial despatch through to driver allocation and point of delivery.
The POD app also manages failed deliveries and partial order deliveries by prompting for a specific reason code and registration of the failed delivery event, these important details are also synchronised to the Pronto Xi database and held against the new sales order delivery records.
Integrating with Maps, the POD app displays ETA’s, distances in km’s between designated drops and also enables drivers to quickly contact delivery recipients to ensure customers are aware of any unscheduled delays.
The POD app helps achieve better driver utilization through an interactive mapping and allocation screen. Drivers can also drag and drop orders within an allocated sequence to re-order their delivery drops as required. Each order allocated will display comprehensive delivery details and instructions, order weights and volumes including line level detail of sku’s for delivery within each order.
The POD app also allows for customer pickup of goods in store or warehouse, in this scenario the POD app delivers an abbreviated workflow by bypassing both order load stage and driver navigation screens and takes the user directly to the sign on glass stage of the pickup workflow.
We’ve introduced a new range of sales order delivery statuses to denote each delivery stage and event after the traditional despatch process, so now users have more visibility of exactly where customers orders are within the delivery cycle. From Ready to Load through to Delivered all delivery stages and events are automatically captured against sales orders within Pronto Xi. Data including date/time of delivery stage, location, delivery status ensure Pronto Xi customers can accurately track and substantiate proof of delivery if necessary.
Key features of the Pronto Xi POD app;
