Looking for an easy way to see and enter local golf scramble tournaments, or any golf tournament for that matter? Snap!
Captain-n-Crew tm (CnC) helps golfers easily find tournaments in their present location. Tournaments can be for fundraising, 501(c)3, for your workplace or corporate headquarters, for family tournaments or just for putting together a friends’ tournament.
It doesn't matter the type of tournament, whether scramble (aka: Captain & Crew - our inspiration…), or 2-man scramble, or best ball, or Ryder Cup format – you pick how you want to play! Our system is just to publish your event to your local community, yet on a national bulletin board type service.
The beauty for this app is getting your tournament in a place that
all mobile app users can see and join your event, along with extra benefits!
Captain-n-Crew helps tournament organizers get teams signed up for their event faster than normal. It’s free for anyone to enter and publicly post to a local yet national listing. Setting up a tournament (a request) off the Menu (triple horizontal bar) on the top right of the app is as easy as typing in:
· Tournament Name
· Tournament Cause
· Name of Host (first & last)
· Email Address (a 2-factor Token will be sent to verify email address for security reasons and implemented in the next release or two.)
Once you’ve requested your tournament at a given course, an email is sent to that course and gives them the details you entered in the request for their approval or denial. In most cases the course already knows of your tournament, and the formality of clicking Approve allows your event instant access to the CnC Calendar - players can then start signing up.
Once you’ve been approved, you'll quickly get an email with options to help fulfill all the details you may need to successfully run your tournament.
Captain-n-Crew helps golf courses get to a point where they fill their events faster. CnC promotes their course by giving the public a chance to request a tournament on an open future day at their establishment. When the date is selected and the tournament requested, an email will be sent to the course for approval. We can also sell the courses’ Pro Shop goods with one of our newest feature, the CnC Event Day Bonus Buy.
The CnC Bonus Buy can be set up by the Host, Course Admin or any golf company that wishes to sell their goods during the golf tournament. As players arrive, their CnC Bonus Buy dashboard activates when they click on the Multiple Player icon above the Legend icon on the Map. If there is a Bonus Buy for the tournament, it will display and the players will be able to purchase what is available.
Now you (as tournament host) can sell something to help raise more money for your cause. The course can then sell and provide a great bonus buy deal, while also helping clear inventory. Finally, the major golf companies can now offer a bonus buy for fantastic deals, priced where players won’t want to miss this purchasing window.
