Village Access is a program of the Village Alliance, a community-based 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Village Access was created to encourage Greenwich Village residents, employees, students and visitors to shop locally and patronize independent merchants.

The Village Alliance has been a leading advocate for Greenwich Village for over twenty-five years. As a Business Improvement District, the Alliance works with area residents, businesses, cultural, and academic institutions to ensure the district continues to grow and succeed. Our mission is to enhance the neighborhood’s quality-of-life by creating a cleaner, safer, greener and more enjoyable environment.  Among the programs we manage are economic development and community revitalization initiatives, marketing and business promotions, supplemental public safety and sanitation services, graffiti removal, horticulture and streetscape enhancements, creative placemaking and tourist information.
