HOW TO USE:

1. Set up your profile one time with your age, weight, height, etc.

2. Make sure the MET-MAX button is set to the ON position for Drop It to give you the optimum calorie budget EVERY DAY.

3. Drag and drop the calorie "bubbles" into the mouth as you eat throughout the day. Tap on the calorie history for the Daily Calories Log if you wish to enter a description for items or add more items manually. If you're not sure what the calories are for a particular food, you can use the Food Search at the top.

4. Tap the Exercise button to add any exercise you do throughout the day.

5. If you weight yourself on any given day, enter your weight by tapping the Weight button.

6. Use the New Day button at the top to reset everything for a new day.

I would have given this 4 stars as it’s a fun way to keep track of calories and my screen isn’t cluttered with information such as fat, carbs, etc. as I don’t keep track of any of that. However, I sent an email to the designer/company asking about how the random daily fluctuations are correct. What I’ve read about the zigzag diet program, is that you should take your weekly calorie allotment and split that total amount into random daily amounts to total how many calories you can eat weekly (e.g., 1,200 x 7 =8,400). With this app, you may end up going over or under the weekly amount as you spin a wheel daily to determine what your daily calorie intake will be, but it erases it the next day, so there is no way to track how many total weekly calories you have eaten, other than manually keeping track, which defeats the purpose of using an app. Otherwise, it’s a fun app but probably not worth paying for.

Lost 30 pounds so far!

This is exactly the kind of app I was looking for. Makes losing weight EASY and even FUN! I have used Lose It! in the past but prefer the quick and easy simplicity of this one along with the zigzag method. I’ve definitely lost the most weight with this app easily and consistently then with any other app. Thumbs up.
