Rapid Math is designed to help students memorize basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division problems while giving full control over to the parent. The app quizzes the student with rapid math questions over a customizable amount of time and then reports back on the number of correct and incorrect answers.
CHOOSE THE LEVEL OF MATH QUESTIONS
Rapid Math allows you to choose from level 1 to level 4 math questions. You can mix and match addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, choosing to quiz all types of problems or focus on a single type of arithmetic.
The math is targeted at kids from kindergarten to 3rd and 4th grade. The settings allow each type of math to have its own level, so you can target the questions for your kid's specific needs.
A great way to use the app is to set a goal for the number of correct answers within a time frame starting with a lower goal such as 12 correct answers in a minute and then raising the goal to 16 or 20 correct answers.
Rapid Math also allows the parent to set the timer from 30 seconds all the way up to 5 minutes in increments of 30 seconds. Younger children might do better with 30 or 60 second quizzes focusing on addition and subtraction while pre-teens can use the app with a longer timer to help with multiplication and division. This is a great way to learn the times tables and memorize how to multiple single digit numbers.
