Drop a Story offers an app where the dramaturgical model is in focus. The dramaturgical model describes how a drama can be built up in a book. The app allows you to capture the moment in the middle of the observation when you are at work, on the bus or studying people at an airport.
Add the story's characters with information about age, occupation, employment, role in the story, quirks, and characteristics. You can also write about observations and portray places where your story take place.
You can use your own photos, or take photos in the app, as a book cover for your story, this helps you keeping track of each story.
There are different genres to choose from but you can also add your own. At the beginning of each story, choose whether to post a brief synopsis, a brief summary of your new upcoming bestseller that tells you what your story will be about.
In the dramaturgical model, you build up the drama in the book based on the different parts of the model – appropriation, presentation, immersion, escalation, climax, rounding out. The events are added as points and you drag the text, tied to the point, to where and when in history the drama takes place. Click on the image of the dramaturgical model where your points are visible, you get a larger picture and you can move the points to where you prefer.
When you feel finished with your story or if you want to continue working on it on your computer. Then you can email the information about the characters, places, and where in the story you added the major events to get a good time perspective on your new story.
You can add how many stories you want and also delete them, your story will be saved if something happens to your phone and you can also change your story as well as move the dots in the dramaturgical model according to your own desire.
