About Sencor FOOD
The app is designed for Sencor kitchen scales of the SKS 707xAA, SKS 717xAA and SKS 8080 model series.
The connection of the scale to the phone is done automatically when the app is launched. To pair, it is sufficient to have the Bluetooth function enabled on the smart device. An internet connection is required to find food.
The app offers fast retrieval of information about the weighed food via EAN barcode.
Sencor FOOD offers modes. Since version 1.2, we have added the "Recipes" mode, which guides you through the preparation of a selected dish.
The Sencor FOOD app is interlinked with the Calorie Tables app. At the end of weighing, you can enter your food in your Calorie Tables menu with one click and keep a long-term overview of your food intake (Some advanced features of the Calorie Tables app may incur a fee).

Terrible and Non-functional search!
I am a nutritionist and recently bought this scale for a research project and I am happy with its accuracy, functionality and design. However, the Sencor Food app is terrible and the search function is designed in the worst possible way which is very frustrating. When you search for a food item like lemon, it shows a long list of all the foods that have the word lemon in them except for the lemon itself or any other food item you are searching for, and you have to search through all of them to find the food you are looking for. I bought this scale just for the app and its smartness but now I regret my purchase because it is not useful for me and every time I weigh an item I have to spend a few minutes to find that food item in the very long list that is provided, which is ridiculous. Whereas if you search for a food item in any of the food databases like usda, simple food calorie apps and etc., it will easily and in most of the seconds show the item closest to your search. Also, the list of nutrients that the app shows is not complete and only includes a few Nutrition Facts items. I ask the developers of the Sencor Food application to fix this serious flaw
