Benefit Stepcoach is part of the study of Leiden University about the effects of type of feedback on physical activity. You will do exercises aimed to improve your daily physical activity, set a personal goal to improve your step count, and measure your step count for 21 consecutive days. Benefit Stepcoach provides you with daily feedback about your progress. You will be randomly assigned to one of several different types of feedback that will help you reach your physical activity goal. During this 21-day intervention, you will be asked to fill in several surveys within the app.
