What does it mean to follow Christ? How does one love God and love one another well? At Oak Grove Church we understand from the New Testament that Christians are ‘disciplined learners’ and ‘ministry practitioners’. To be well trained and disciplined in the faith is necessary for a strong foundation in order to not be tossed to and fro by the waves of life and carried about by every wind of doctrine. At OGC we have established 5 Branches of training to assist you in becoming mature in Christ and well trained. The branches are: Live the New Life, Proclaim Christ, Rely on God’s Resources, Being Christ’s Disciple and Grow in Christlikeness.
Our method is simple: 1) daily devotions 2) weekly group meetings and 3) Scripture memorization and meditation. Our confidence is not in our curriculum, but in Christ. For we have observed that those who have grown to maturity in Christ have cultivated a daily walk with Jesus Christ. This is our earnest desire for you: that you know and love Jesus Christ intimately and personally, for HE is life! (John 17:3)
