LV Cable Vd Calculation

When curreynt flow in a Cable there is a voltage Drop between the ends of the Cable which is the product of the current and impedance. The Cable impedance is effected by the length of the cables , different Conductor material Cu or AL and others factors .

LV Cable Systems should be designed so as not to exceed voltage Drop 3-5 % in normal operating condition.
