Hudson Valley Current

Hudson Valley Current supports a new economic direction based on the principles of localism and triple bottom line thinking. HVC promotes local self-reliance through economic development, educates the community about our economic system, and increases opportunities for underserved communities. There are three primary projects of the Hudson Valley Current: 1) The Current: a mutual credit based local currency; 2) Livelihood Magazine: a local living economy publication; and 3) the Satisfy Hunger campaign: a food security initiative.
